Introduction

The Realm of Xanadu is a graphical cyber-novel presented in a manner that utilizes the non-linear "hyperlink" nature of the web. Each "chapter" is a different webpage seemingly unrelated to the next. The plot is revealed only when the reader discovers connections between the information and stories presented. Many historical events and mythologies have been incorporated into the plot to enhance its realism.

"I think this is a really great site. I'm waiting to read the end of the story as soon as you open the final link. I also really like the pictures, I especially like the Ebola Flower picture. I also really like the hidden link idea. I'm just now starting my own website and I'd like to use a similar idea."
     -- James Johnson

"Pretty decent website.  You need something like a timeline to organize the huge amount of info here though."
     -- Chronos

"Beautifully done...seekers shall see the greatness."
     -- The Lady Wolf

"I was doing a paper about Coleridge and found your page. I found it very interesting. I also received my introduction to Xanadu through Rush and also Iron Maiden's, Rime of the Ancient Mariner"

"Blown away. I have been trying to find artists who have taken the linear forms of print and flat graphics and moved them to the level possible with the new media. Congratulations. I expect to become a regular visitor."
