ecent events have uncovered the existence of a mysterious city concealed deep within the Himalayan Mountains.  This city, known as Xanadu, lies in a jeweled valley of unparalleled splendor.  Shrouded in myth and believed only to be fiction, the truth about this beautiful place has been veiled from the eyes of the known world for thousands of years.

Only recently, when a series of journals were uncovered from a Tibetan monastery, was the truth of the fabled city discovered.   These journals are believed to be over two hundred years old, and tell the story of a grand expedition into the Himalayas.  The participants of this journey stumble across the sacred valley of Xanadu and record the events in great detail.  It is from the story contained within these journals that began the search for further evidence of Xanadu’s existence.

Below are resources uncovered during that search.   As the story of Xanadu begins to take shape, it’s scope and pervasiveness throughout history becomes frighteningly apparent.

The Discovery - During an expedition in Tibet, a group of treasure hunters inadvertently stumble upon a bounty of quite a different nature.  What they uncover provides the first remarkable evidence confirming the existence of the fabled city, Xanadu.

Gallery of the Ebola Gardens - Within the walls of Xanadu lies a garden of exquisite beauty.  This garden holds beautiful works of art, on display for all its citizens to enjoy.  Although few outside of Xanadu have ever seen this gallery, a few of its works have been located.  Most of the artwork presented here is either a reproduction of the original, or influenced by those who have seen the Gallery.

Excavation of the Lost City - Upon first glance, the connection between Agaparthea and Xanadu is not readily apparent.  Recent evidence now suggests the origin of Xanadu is linked to the mysterious destruction of this ancient Sumerian city.

The Scrolls of Lylanth - A series of ancient scrolls depicting the legend of the Demon Goddess, Lylanth.  It is believed she was the basis for many myths, including the Hebrew myth of Lilith, the first wife of Adam. Her name has significant meaning to the peoples of Xanadu as well, although the connection between the two remains unclear.

The Codex of Presage - Retrieved along with the journals uncovered in Tibet, this book is the transcribed writings found on the Obelisk of Yyadrian.  Much like the Bible is to Christianity, the written texts carved into the obelisk describe the origin and religious beliefs of the people of Xanadu.  Much of this Codex remains a mystery due to the difficulty in translating its archaic and complex language.  The portions that have been successfully interpreted can be found here.

The Chronicles of Indraya - The recent discovery of this ancient manuscript now sheds light on many of the mysteries surrounding the ancient Indus civilization of northern India/Pakistan.  The founder of this ancient society appears to be linked to the origins of Xanadu as well.

Lexicon of Xanadu - Resource of terminology unique to the Realm of Xanadu.
