The Eighth Manifest Legacy: Destruction of the Nullstrom

     The Nullstrom is the embodiment of all destruction and death. Just as life is born, matures and grows, so must it whither and die. This is the cycle of life; the death of the old and weak to make room for the new and strong. The Nullstrom is the embodiment of this cycle; allowing the Chaosynth to create and change, the Stratagoth to give direction and order, then eliminating all that is old and feeble. The Nullstrom is an integral part of the balance in nature, assuring that neither order nor chaos prevails.

     The Nullstrom exists to temper the forces of the other facets of the Tripartium. Without the Stratagoth, nothing of meaning would exist, the cosmos would be only randomness and destruction. Without the Chaosynth, nothing new could be and the Nullstrom would eventually consume all of existence. The universe would be as it was before the beginning, and all would be void.

     In the past, balance, harmony and tranquility were the ways of the Nullstrom. Only the tattered remnants of the Stratagoth’s web, or the outlying vestiges of the Chaosynth’s substance were fodder for the Nullstrom’s consumption. That ended with the corruption. After that moment, the Nullstrom became the twisted core of malice and greed, ravenously devouring all in its path. Malevolent and hateful, the Nullstrom quickly perverted the symmetry that once existed. Now it is the Apocalyptic torch bearer, spawning entropy, decay and corruption wherever its malignant tendrils can reach.
