Clarity of the Chaosynth

The Sixth Manifest Legacy: Randomness of the Chaosynth

The Chaosynth is the entity of pure change and possibility. It is the turmoil of transmutation and elemental force. It is presumed that the very creation of life spawned from the song of its constant aleatoric mutations. The Chaosynth is alive with possibility; moreover, the Chaosynth is possibility itself. Every molecule in the universe contains some part of this essential spirit, this chaos of potentiality. It is from the Chaosynth that excitement and newness spew forth.

The capacity of the Chaosynth is limited by its need for the other facets of the Tripartium. Without the guidance of the Stratagoth, the Chaosynth is formless and without meaning. Lacking the restraint of the Nullstrom, further creation would not be possible. With only the Chaosynth, the universe would be chaos and pandemonium, unable to give birth to anything of any consequence.

Of the Tripartium, only the Chaosynth escaped the corruption that now plagues the Stratagoth and the Nullstrom. This was due to its very nature. Constantly changing, adapting and changing again, the Chaosynth was never effected by the external forces that infected the other facets of the Tripartium. However, this also means the Chaosynth lacked true consciousness and was never cognizant of the danger that surrounded it. Due to its own mutability, it was unable to defend itself from the aggression of the corrupted ones. Through a millennium of attrition, the Stratagoth and the Nullstrom have successfully bound and destroyed enough of the Chaosynth as to render its essence impotent.

The Chaosynth is by no means dead or powerless. Ancient prophecies speak of the salvation of Yggdrasil and the imprisonment of all that is tyranny and oppression. It is through the leaves of the branch of the Chaosynth that hope remains alive and it is believed that through it, balance will be restored to the universe.
